Colorado School of Mines has some exciting news to share with you!
Colorado School of Mines is pleased to announce the formation of a new honor society, Alpha Alpha Alpha (or Tri-Alpha), which recognizes the academic achievements of first-generation college students. Colorado School of Mines is proud to have started the first chapter—the Nu Lambda chapter—of Alpha Alpha Alpha in Colorado!
To qualify: • you must be a current degree candidate at Colorado School of Mines, • who has completed at least three full-time terms of study (minimum 30 credit hours), at least one of which must have been at Colorado School of Mines (for transfer students), • who has an overall GPA of at least 3.2 in all coursework, and • who comes from a family where neither parent nor any legal guardians earned a bachelor’s degree in the United States.
