Health Insurance Enrollment/Waiver Period Now Opens August 1 Department / Organization: SHIP Health Insurance Enrollment/Waiver Period Now Opens August 1 Due to technical issues related to a university system upgrade, the 2025-26 health insurance enrollment/waiver period will now open on August 1, instead of the previously communicated date of July 15. The deadline to submit a waiver remains September 3, so there will still be ample time to complete the process once the period opens. We understand that some students may have time-sensitive needs for insurance coverage prior to August 1. While most students will not need to take any action until the period opens, if you believe you may have a specific situation that requires early enrollment, please email ship@mines.edu so we can discuss your options. Health Insurance Enrollment/Waiver Period Now Opens August 1

Due to technical issues related to a university system upgrade, the 2025-26 health insurance enrollment/waiver period will now open on August 1, instead of the previously communicated date of July 15.

The deadline to submit a waiver remains September 3, so there will still be ample time to complete the process once the period opens.

We understand that some students may have time-sensitive needs for insurance coverage prior to August 1.
