Free automated mineralogy workshop hosted by TESCAN!

Learn about SEM-based automated mineralogy with representatives from TESCAN and Mines MMC Facility on 8/6. Free drinks!
This informational workshop will introduce you to the basics of automated mineralogy and give you an opportunity to learn how SEM-based automated mineralogy and TESCAN TIMA can answer questions across geology, metallurgy, and materials science.
TESCAN TIMA instrumentation is available on the Colorado School of Mines campus through the Minerals and Materials Characterization Facility, and we are eager to collaborate with both internal and external clients!
Topics include:
-An introduction to the fundamentals of automated mineralogy
-Equipment and instrumentation
-Practical examples and applications
-An introduction to the TIMA software package
There will be time for Q&A as well as a social mixer with free drinks and snacks. Alcoholic beverages will be available for attendees 21+.
