PIs don’t delay! New proposal deadlines are on their way!

Starting September 1st, ORA is adopting updated proposal preparation procedures and deadlines
In order to meet the demands of increased proposal volume, new sponsor requirements, and an ever-changing funding landscape, ORA is updating proposal procedures to better ensure efficient and reliable proposal preparation and submission support.
Updated procedures require PIs to notify their Proposal Analyst of upcoming proposal submission at least 10 business days prior to the sponsor deadline for standard (non-complex, i.e no subs, no cost share) proposals and 15 business days prior to the sponsor deadline for non-standard (complex, i.e includes subs, cost share, etc.) proposals.
Changes also include guidance on new internal submission deadlines for key proposal components, including final budget, subrecipient determination, and other sponsor-mandated proposal documents.
