Shooting Sports Club General Shoot

Join us for a range day at Turkey Tracks. It's a great opportunity to get outdoors and meet new people!
Please RSVP on the Oreconnect This event is primarily for students who have moderate-and-above experience with firearms. This means a general knowledge of firearm safety, function, and handling. If you are new to firearms, then please attend an 'Introductory Shoot' instead. General Shoots the club sets up a shooting range 'range day' with numerous targets situated from close up to out to 200 yards or more. Bringing your own firearms and ammunition is encouraged but not necessary. Letting other attendees operate your firearm (under supervision) is common, but it is not required. If you do not have a firearm to bring, there is always a large number free to try out. -Location: Turkey Track Shooting Range(Meet first at McNeil Hall) -6:45 AM to ~3:00 PM -Meet at 6:45 AM on the top floor of the campus Parking Garage (McNeil Hall). We will convoy to the shooting range from there. -No personal shooting equipment or firearms are needed. We'll be outdoors at a higher elevation, so dress and prepare appropriately (bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, jacket in winter, etc.). -For more information/questions, contact Ethan Pozzi (ethanpozzi@mines.edu) -Mines welcomes individuals with disabilities.
