Pour Liquid Metal with the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department
Learn about the Foundry and the greensand casting process this Friday in the Hill Hall Hot Shop. No experience required! We will make a greensand mold and pour liquid aluminum to make a Mines themed casting. You may also bring your own object to transform into aluminum!** You must wear safety glasses, long pants, closed toed shoes, and tie long hair back in order to participate. You must stay for the duration of the event to make a casting.
