The Talk: Responsibly and safely meeting internal production goals is understandably the primary focus for any mining operation. However, companies must also dedicate resources to addressing a growing and diverse set of external stakeholder expectations. This seminar will explore how cross-functional collaborations to engage both suppliers and customers on sustainability requirements can help meet such expectations while bolstering business resilience.
The Speaker: Carrie Claytor has been immersed in the metals and mining industry throughout her 20+ year career – first an environmental consultant to the sector, then as a program director for an industry association, and now as a sustainability leader of a global producer. She is currently the Manager of Value Chain Sustainability at Freeport-McMoRan.
