Join Purple Thursday for Domestic Violence Awareness 10/23

Purple is the color of Domestic Violence Awareness.
About 1 in 3 women, 1 in 4 men, and 1 in 2 trans and nonbinary individuals in the US experience domestic violence. Join in showing your visible support by wearing purple on Thursday October 23rd. This small sign of support can make a huge difference and lets people know they are not alone.
We'll be on pedestrian/maple plaza from 10am-1pm where you can pick up a purple ribbon, share a message of support, and learn about resources. Show up wearing anything purple and you can enter to win sweet treats from Gold Mine cupcakes.
