Welcome to Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Department / Organization: IT

Cybersecurity Awareness Month is here, and it’s time to power up your defenses against the tricks of social engineering!

Level 4: When you See Something, Say Something

It’s all been leading up to this.
Our fourth and final level of battling treacherous cybersecurity villains brings all
you’ve learned so far to bear.
From reporting phishing emails to seeking help from IT, following our reporting
policies when something seems off is one of the most important steps in helping
to keep our organization cybersecure.

The last level culminates in a content exploring how security incidents impact our entire organization and how every employee has a role to play in banishing risk to the dungeon. Please join us on our Information Security Website.

Check it out to learn:
• Misconceptions about data security
• Common causes of security incidents
• How to make security-conscious decisions

Be sure to visit our website for details on the impact that you can have on the security of Mines and all of its students, staff and facility.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to security@mines.edu
