Free home-cooked meal at Calvary Church
Chunch takes place on Tuesdays at Calvary Church, across the street from the Mines campus. This week you can enjoy some tasty homemade Mac n’ Cheez – pasta loaded with cheddar cheese sprinkled with jalapeño peppers for heat. Beef Sloppy Joes in a Korean BBQ sauce – a combo of beef and veggies in a spicy sauce made with fermented chilis from Korea served on a sesame seed bun. Homemade Sweet n’ Sour Soup – a Chunch favorite
Other Meal opportunities: Stop by the First United Methodist Church on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30-1:00pm, and on Sunday evening from 5:30-6:30 pm. First United Methodist Church, 1500 Ford serves free community meals. Come in the aqua door close to 15th street (community room) and join us for a homecooked meal. This is a meal for anyone who wants to join.
