Justin Kilb is an engineer and applied researcher specializing in mathematical optimization and artificial intelligence. He completed his Master of Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Operations Research at Mines. His research focuses on humanitarian and military logistics under uncertainty, emphasizing value of information and generative optimization strategies that integrate classical operations research with reinforcement learning. A former Chief Drilling Engineer and AI Technical Advisor at Ovintiv, Justin has led research collaborations with NASA and Fortune 500 international companies, recognition contributions to machine learning.
