NOAA Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship Offers $9,500 scholarship and Summer 2027 research internship at NOAA facility
Sophomores interested in the work of NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) are encouraged to apply to the NOAA Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship. This scholarship-and-summer-research-internship-opportunity recognizes outstanding sophomores studying in NOAA mission fields (all majors at Mines accepted). Scholars receive up to $9,500 per academic year to support their studies, as well as a paid summer internship opportunity (between their junior and senior year) at a NOAA facility across the U.S. Applications are due January 31.
