Banner System Down Tonight
Department / Organization: IT Banner will be unavailable late tonight, 11/19, for a critical software upgrade.
Ellucian is performing a critical update that will cause a complete outage of the Banner system from Wednesday, November 19, at 10:30 PM to Thursday, November 20, at 3:00 AM. During this time, all services relying on Banner will be unavailable. This includes, but is not limited to: --Banner Admin --Faculty and Student Self-Service cards in Trailhead (including course registration) --Smartplan and Plan Ahead registration planning tools --Insights and Tableau will not receive their normal nightly refresh of Banner data Please plan your work accordingly and complete any time-sensitive transactions before the start of the maintenance window. This maintenance window is required to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our core administrative systems. While the outage is scheduled outside of normal business hours, we are informing the campus to ensure awareness.
