Hands-On Fire Extinguisher Training

FIRE!?!?! Grab the extinguisher... Got it, now how do I use it? Register Today!

The Environmental Health and Safety Department is offering hands-on training at 2:00 PM on both Tuesday April 18th and Wednesday April 19th. Come participate in an interactive fire extinguisher training. Trainees will learn about different types of fire extinguishers, the proper technique when operating a fire extinguisher, and get the chance to put out a fire.

Space will be limited to 15 people per session.

Training takes approximately 45 minutes and will be provided outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

Note: We can offer an separate group training for departments or clubs if desired.
