Please, join the ME Department for this presentation from Dr. Brendan Bulfin from University College Cork, Ireland. Dr. Brendan Bulfin is a Lecturer in Sustainable Materials at University College Cork’s School of Chemistry and Sustainability Institutes. His research focuses on materials science and chemical reaction engineering, with applications in sustainable chemical-process development and energy storage. Before joining UCC in 2023, Brendan held positions as a senior researcher in the Renewable Energy Carriers group at ETH Zurich’s Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering, and as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute of Solar Research of the German Aerospace Center (DLR). He completed his undergraduate degree and PhD in Physics at Trinity College Dublin.
