Teach@Mines Noyce Classroom Experience Award

Register for SCED262/562 to be eligible to earn $500 while exploring K-12 teaching!
The Teach@Mines Noyce Classroom Experience Award seeks to encourage passionate Mines students to explore K-12 teaching by providing paid classroom experiences. Students will spend time in local schools, gaining first-hand experience of the profession, and will earn a $500 stipend for successfully completing SCED 262/562 K-12 Field Experience.
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
1) Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.
2) Have not previously been awarded a Noyce Classroom Experience Award, Scholarship, or Stipend.
3) Will enroll in SCED262/562 Spring term and successfully complete the course.
4) Will attend at least three Teacher Education Alliance (TEA, student club) meetings throughout the semester (unless there is an approved conflict).
5) Will respond to all emails from Noyce personnel in a timely manner.
