Less Perfection, More Connection Group at Mines Counseling
Department / Organization: Counseling Center A skills-based group to help students challenge perfectionism & deepen relationships in their lives.
This group is influenced by Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy and helps students become more flexible and curious, increase emotional openness and expression, lean into discomfort and new experiences, deepen connections in their lives, and learn the value of embracing imperfection. This group is a great fit for students who may identify as perfectionistic, feel lonely and disconnected from others, and/or struggle to break out of their routines and patterns. The group meets weekly for a 6-week commitment. If this sounds like something you might like to attend, please request an initial consultation on our website (COUNSELING.MINES.EDU) or call the Counseling Center at 303-273-337 to schedule an initial consult to discuss the group in more detail. The group will begin in late February/early October 2026, Wednesdays at 3pm. Go to this website for more information: https://counseling.mines.edu/groups/
