Trajectories 2026 - Beyond the Moon
Department / Organization: Mines Foundation Trajectories is a flagship Mines aerospace event. Come hear from technical engineers on forging unique careers in aerospace.
The Mines Aerospace Interest Group and AIAA@Mines proudly present this year’s Trajectories – Beyond the Moon: Innovative Engineering Paths. Mines alumni, students, faculty/staff and industry leaders are invited to attend this year's Trajectories that focuses on the technical fields that reach far beyond lunar exploration. Attendees will learn about emerging areas of aerospace, discover non-linear career journeys and engage directly with engineering professionals shaping the field. This event features a keynote presentation from Dan Porpora '06, a Program Manager in Space & Mission Systems at BAE Systems. A panel discussion will be held after the keynote exploring the breadth of engineering careers in aerospace. This event is free to attend, and complimentary appetizers and beverages will be provided.
