Join us for a candid session with Jessica Lau. We will kick off with a brief 15-minute introduction where she’ll share about her career journey (engineer>manager>leadership coach). After that, the floor is yours. This is an Ask Me Anything (AMA) designed to support you and your growth. Whether you want to know how to handle office politics, how to position yourself for a promotion/raise, or how to figure out what you want to do next, bring your questions and let’s talk! Bio: Jessica Lau is a Leadership Coach and Grid Strategy Consultant who helps leaders and teams build the trust, communication, and alignment needed to do their best work. With nearly two decades of experience in the electric power industry, Jessica combines technical expertise and human-centered strategies to power the future grid. She has led initiatives with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies, establishing vital partnerships with local communities and technology developers. Her expertise includes transmission and distribution planning, smart grid technology, wholesale energy markets, and resilience projects. She has worked at ISO New England, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Xcel Energy, and Con Edison. Jessica holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Math and an M.S. in Power Systems Management.
