Lunch Bunch this Thursday 2/19: Spotlight on Mines ROTC

Department / Organization: Mines Foundation

Join program director Captain David Hermerding to learn more about cadet life, academics, and leadership paths after Mines.

Mines was among the first four U.S. colleges to establish an ROTC program, commissioning its first graduating class in 1921. Today, Mines offers both Army and Air Force ROTC, serving more than 150 cadets as part of the 13-school Golden Buffalo Battalion, hosted by CU Boulder.

Join us for an update on this historic and impactful program, currently led by Captain David Hermerding, who will share what a day in the life of a cadet looks like, what they study at Mines and the diverse leadership careers they pursue after graduation.
