RENOWNED CLEO PARKER ROBINSON DANCE PERFORMANCE ON CAMPUS

Currently celebrating its 55th Anniversary Season, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance is an international performing arts and educational institution rooted in African American traditions and the Diaspora, dedicated to excellence in providing cross-cultural performances, and enrichment programs - empowering all our communities by cultivating healthy mind, body, and spirit development for intergenerational students, artists, and audiences. Viewing dance as a universal language of movement that transcends boundaries of culture, class, and age, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance is committed to honoring diversity and inclusiveness throughout the global community. There is going to be a pre-performance lecture with Trey Grimes "Arts Education at the Frontier of Human-Machine Collaboration” on March 13 (Friday) 5:30 to 6:30pm in the Petroleum Hall in the Green Center. It is followed by the dance performance by Cleo Parker Robinson Dance "CLEO II" Excerpts from "ONE NATION UNDER A GROOVE PART 2: 48 HOURS IN BIRMINGHAM" (Cleo Parker Robinson Dance World Premiere 2002) on March 13 (Friday) 7:00 to 8:00pm in the Bunker Auditorium in the Green Center.
