SWiC Breakfast with Dr. James Mayer of Yale University

Department / Organization: Society of Women in Chemistry (SWiC)

Join us at 8am in Coolbaugh 137 with Chemistry Speaker, Dr. James Mayer from the Yale University Chemistry Department

Join your peers in having bagels, donuts, and coffee with the visiting Chemistry speaker in Coolbaugh 137 from 8 - 8:45am this Friday, March 13th. This week we are joined by Dr. James Mayer of Yale University. This event is a great networking opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students to hear about science and life at other institutions as well as connect with a professional in the field.
There is no set discussion topic: discussions can range from career trajectory, science, work-life balance, diversity in STEM, or anything else. This event is sponsored by SWiC and the Department of Chemistry, and we welcome students, postdocs, and speakers of all identities to the event.
If you require an accommodation in order to participate in this event, please contact Theresa Nosel at theresanosel@mines.edu. Advance notice may be necessary to arrange for some accessibility needs. As always, this event is open to anyone!
Attendance of this event will count towards being considered for SWiC's Networking Award at the end of Spring semester!
