Less Perfection, More Connection Group at Counseling Center

Department / Organization: Counseling Center

A skills-based group to challenge perfectionism, starting after spring break on Wednesday April 1

The Less Perfection, More Connection group helps students become more flexible and curious, increase emotional openness and expression, lean into discomfort and new experiences, deepen connections in their lives, and learn the value of embracing imperfection.

This group is a great fit for students who may identify as perfectionistic, feel lonely and disconnected from others, and/or struggle to break out of their routines and patterns.

The group will begin on Wednesday April 1 from 3-4pm in the Counseling Center. The group meets weekly for a 6-week commitment.

If this sounds like something you want to attend, please schedule a phone consultation (https://www.mines.edu/counseling-center/request-appointment/) at the Counseling Center to discuss the group in more detail.
