Explore teaching and engage in leadership and professional skills with Teach@Mines! Fall 2026 courses include: - SCED262/562 K-12 Field Experience & Building Student Relationships - SCED333/533 Educational Psychology & Assessment* - SCED415/515 Scientific Practices & Engineering Design & the Nature of Science** - MAED405/505 Mathematica Practices & the Social Context of Math** - CSED430/530 Computer Science Practices & Technological Impacts on Society** *CAS mid-level elective ** CAS 400-level elective Teach@Mines offers teacher licensure in Secondary Science (grades 6-12), Secondary Mathematics (grades 6-12), Middle Grades Mathematics (grades 6-8), and K-12 Computer Science. Licensure can be pursued through one of three pathways: by adding our minor, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Design Engineering with a focus on STEM teaching, or through a Masters in STEM Education.
