Are you an undergraduate student ready to take your research skills to the next level? Whether you are already engaged in research or excited to get started, Research Methods in STEM provides an enhanced understanding of modern laboratory and computational research processes across STEM disciplines.

In this interactive & unique 1-credit course, you will get practical guidance on the research lifecycle from conducting a literature review, designing safe and effective experimental methods, applying data analysis tools to interpret research findings, and preparing a formal poster presentation.

We will discuss how to find the right places to publish and present your work, introduce important social and psychological aspects of research, and help you build stronger professional relationships while navigating the dynamics of research teams. Assignments are individualized based on experience level.
