Junior Instructional Designer Needed—Start This Summer!

Support STEM courses by designing content, editing materials, and collaborating to deliver engaging online learning.

Are you passionate about advancing STEM education? Mines Professional Education offers an innovative online platform that helps STEM professionals grow their skills and stay competitive. Join our team as a Junior Instructional Designer and help create engaging, high-quality educational content. Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided to support your success and development.

Responsibilities:

Create and improve PowerPoint presentations for learning and engagement
Develop storyboards for educational videos
Use Office 365 tools and adapt to new software
Support course development
Edit courses in a learning management system
Track progress using project management tools
Tag media assets for course production
Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly via email, Teams, Asana, and other platforms

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint, and Office 365 (storyboarding a plus)
Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and team-oriented
Availability of at least 10 hours per week

Pay: Starting at $15.25/hour. Work-study students welcome but not required.
