Important Deadlines
Incomplete (INC) Grade Requests & Resolutions

Department / Organization: Registrar’s Office

Incomplete (INC) grade requests for Spring 2026 and grade resolutions for Spring 2025 are due soon.

As the semester concludes, please note the following requirements for requesting or resolving an Incomplete (INC) grade.

For New Requests:
- Students: Discuss the terms with your instructor and submit an INC Request Form before the end of Finals.
- Faculty: If you agree to an INC, please ensure the student submits the form so the outstanding requirements and due date are documented in their record.
- Reminder: Students should NOT re-enroll in a course to resolve an INC.

Resolving Existing Incompletes:
- Deadline: All outstanding coursework must be submitted and the instructor must update grade within 1 year of the original due date.
- The ‘F’ Trigger: If a grade change is not processed within 1 year, the INC will automatically convert to an F on the student's transcript and impact their GPA.
- Action: Students should check their unofficial transcript in Trailhead to confirm their grades. Faculty should submit final grades via the Faculty Grade Change option in Trailhead.
