Note: You must upload a résumé showing proof of a bachelor’s degree. Hourly staff cannot be hired for fall 2026.

CSM 101
A required 1-credit first-year seminar introducing students to Mines’ social and academic culture, as well as campus resources.
Time: ~2–3 hours/week. Includes a 50-minute class, weekly meeting with two peer mentors, and light grading every other week. Curriculum is fully provided.
Stipend: $850

CSM 202
A required 1-credit course on student well-being covering physical, emotional, social, environmental, spiritual, financial, and intellectual health, plus topics like suicide prevention, substance use, help-seeking, and relationships.
Time: ~3–5 hours/week. Includes teaching, grading, lesson prep, TA meetings, and student support. Curriculum is fully provided.
Stipend: $1000
