Interested in studying abroad in the Mediterranean? Want to go with fellow Mines students? Apply to the Mines in Cyprus program! Spend from February to June on the beautiful island of Cyprus, while fulfilling your degree requirements. The Mechanical Engineering Department at Mines has worked with the University of Nicosia to identify and pre-approve 5 major specific courses for ME students' in their second semester sophomore year. All courses are taught in English and students will receive Mines credit upon completion.

Below are the pre-approved ME courses:

EENG 281 – Into to Circuits

MTGN 202 – Engineered Materials*

MEGN 212 – Intro to Solid Mechanics

MEGN 261 – Thermodynamics*

MATH 225 – Differential Equations

*Note that at least 8 students must be committed to the program to guarantee the running of MTGN202 and MEGN261 specifically. The other classes are already offered! You can also supplement your schedule with some of the many courses the University of Nicosia offers!
