Action Required: Electronic Door Access Software Update
Department / Organization: IT A follow-up reminder for building proctors and staff who haven't updated their Area Access Manager (AAM) software.
If you use Area Access Manager (AAM) to manage electronic door locks and keycard access for campus buildings, a required software update is now available. If your AAM software has already been updated and is working normally, no further action is needed. Older versions of AAM will no longer connect to the server and will display a communication error when opened. Who This Affects: --Building Proctors --Residence Life staff --Department administrators --Any faculty or staff responsible for managing electronic door access and keycard permissions How to Get the Update: Please submit a request through the IT Help Desk: https://helpcenter.mines.edu/TDClient/1946/Portal/Requests/Service/30630/Computer-Software-Installation-or-Update-Request/Request When submitting your request, enter Software Review Ticket #1162304 when prompted.
