Become a Fellow! Building a Culture of Compassion in STEM
Department / Organization: Compassionate STEM Faculty Fellowship Join the Fall 2026 cohort of colleagues from Mines and Virginia Tech--meeting Tuesday evenings on Zoom from 9/29 thru 11/17
As a participant of the Fall 2026 cohort, you will: *Engage with like-minded instructors who believe that all students deserve to feel welcome and belong in STEM classrooms. *Learn, apply, and reflect upon practical strategies for building and supporting a compassionate classroom environment. *Be a part of a community of faculty committed to a student-centered and holistic pedagogy of compassion. As an incentive for your full participation, you will receive a $1000 stipend (either through a gift card or a professional development fund transfer) upon completion.
