Support for Undergrads at Mines Counseling Center

Department / Organization: Counseling Center

Come connect with undergrad peers who are adjusting to college life at Mines. Thursdays at 3:00 pm

Coping & Connecting through Change: Undergraduate Student Support Group, Thursdays at 3:00 pm.

Undergraduates face many challenges and changes throughout their journey at Mines including:
-Adjusting to new living situations
-Dealing with increased academic stress
-Changes with relationships
-Finding an internship or job
The stress involved with navigating change and transition (or adulting) can be difficult. This group is a supportive place where you can share your challenges and experiences with other undergraduate students, find connection with peers and learn valuable coping skills to manage the stress, anxiety and depression that often come when you feel off balance.

This drop-in group is held weekly and is open to undergraduate students. Snacks provided. Facilitated by University Counselors Justin Male and Kim Yalango. Group held at Wellness Center, 2nd floor conference room.
