Seeking Golden Gallop Volunteers Department / Organization: Mechanical Engineering The Golden Gallop, a fundraiser for Golden Schools, turns 20 on September 20th, and needs your help! The Golden Gallop (5K, 10K, and Kids Fun Run), the biggest fundraiser for the Golden Schools Foundation, turns 20 on September 20th, 2026! Runners and volunteers get a T-shirt (blue/runners, red/volunteers), can sign up as a group or individually, and we're happy to provide letters certifying volunteer hours. The event starts and ends at Golden High School. The Gallop is the Golden Schools Foundation's biggest fundraiser. GSF supports the seven schools in the Golden articulation area through programs like teacher recognition and professional development, GHS scholarships (credit recovery and college-bound seniors), and Enrichment Grants for innovative classroom projects at each school.
