PARKING LOT CLOSURES FOR CAREER DAYS - LOT K & MINES PARK

TWO ON-CAMPUS PARKING SITES WILL BE CLOSED FOR CAREER DAYS 9/12 & 9/13: K LOT (STADIUM) AND R LOT/MOLY RD LOTS (MINES PARK)
As you know, both semesters, Colorado School of Mines holds large career fairs for its students, recent graduates, and alumni. This semester we will have a two-day in-person Career Day on Tuesday, September 12th and Wednesday, September 13th in the Student Recreation Center, with DIFFERENT companies and industries on each date. This fall’s Career Days will be well attended, bringing in over 400 local, regional, national, and international employers to the Mines campus.
For the event, Mines is designating 3 parking lots to help with the influx of traffic. In addition to the large off-campus parking lot, two on-campus parking sites have been designated for Career Day use: the K Lot (stadium) and Mines Park Lot R and street parking.
Please be aware that K Lot and R Lot are designated for Career Day use on 9/12 & 9/13 from 6:00am-5:00pm. Thank you for your support of Career Day and your observance of this parking need.

Use the new Mines OreCart shuttles! Refer to https://www.mines.edu/transit/ for the available routes and parking lots associated. Consider parking at the Splash Aquatic Park, and use the Tungsten Route to shuttle into campus (no permits or parking payments required). 3. If you are a K Lot permit holder, you will be permitted to park in any Blue lot on 9/12-9/13.
