The Mines Philharmonic’s first rehearsal is coming up on August 20, and you are invited to join us this semester.

Did you play musical instruments growing up? Did you used to play in a youth orchestra or high school band? Your own Mines Philharmonic Orchestra is looking for capable orchestral players this fall. We practice twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 4:50PM in the Bunker Auditorium, and we will be learning the following exciting program this term:

S. Rachmaninoff: Symphonic Dances, Op. 45
M. Ravel: Bolero
A. Márquez: Danzon No. 2
L. Farrenc: Overture No. 2, Op. 24

The fall concert is scheduled on November 24 (Sunday) at 2PM in the Bunker Auditorium.
