Heather Hansman is the best-selling author of Powder Days: Ski Bums, Ski Towns and the Future of Chasing Snow and Downriver: Into the Future of Water in the West. She’s a contributing editor Outside Magazine and a frequent contributor to publications like The New York Times and The Atlantic. She lives in Durango, Colorado, where she’s at work on her next book about women in the outdoor world.
