Why Science Needs Stories with author and environmental essayist Heather Hansman Heather Hansman is the best-selling author of Powder Days: Ski Bums, Ski Towns and the Future of Chasing Snow and Downriver: Into the Future of Water in the West. She’s a contributing editor Outside Magazine and a frequent contributor to publications like The New York Times and The Atlantic.
